For ordinary professional and research work, a per-recorded-minute quotation gives a clearer starting point. Speaker numbers, urgency, sound quality and the required detail should still be stated.
Use project budgets deliberately
Universities and public bodies approaching a financial year end can arrange an approved quotation or purchase order for planned transcription. The project should still have clear delivery dates, ethics approval, data-protection roles and retention instructions; budget timing should not bypass governance.
